Dr. Calder now conducts ALL APPOINTMENTS exclusively through veterinarian case consultations. These consultations are conducted directly between your veterinarian and Dr. Calder.
- Your veterinarian will determine the cost of this service and will maintain primary responsibility for your pet's case. This means all discussions regarding your pet’s behavior and treatment will take place between you and your veterinarian, not directly with Dr. Calder.
- If your veterinarian is interested in this option, they will need to contact us for more information.
- Be aware that although you may prefer this option, your veterinarian may not. They can reach out with any questions.
- If your veterinarian does not wish to participate in a case consultation, or if you would prefer to have your pet evaluated in-person, please schedule an appointment with Dr. Calder’s resident, Dr. Shannon Emmons at Eliot Veterinary Hospital located in Eliot, ME 03903. Check out their website for information on how to schedule. We do not schedule these appointments.
- If you and your veterinarian opt for the case consultation option, Dr. Calder can assist with diagnostic and medication recommendations but will not provide detailed training or behavior modification guidance. The team at Haulin’ Aus, Inc. specializes in this aspect of your pet’s care and can help with developing a management, training, and behavior modification plan.
- Additionally, working with the Haulin' Aus team offers valuable insights into your pet’s behavior, which will assist both your veterinarian and Dr. Calder in the consultation process and ongoing care. This is beneficial regardless of whether you are currently working with, or have previously worked with, another trainer.
- These options are for both dogs and cats. The Haulin' Aus team will also help you with your cat.
